The Mental Peace Journal
Your peace is found in Christ.
An interactive Christian guided journal created to help you overcome negative thoughts, anxiety, depression, and overwhelm, God’s way.
Through biblical teaching, guided journaling, prayer, Scripture declarations, and practical exercises, you’ll learn how to place your faith in the Lord, understand what is disrupting your peace, and apply His Word to what you’re facing in everyday life.
This journal doesn’t just tell you to trust God. It helps you understand what that looks like when your thoughts are scattered, your emotions are heavy, and life is…you know, lifin.
You know what the Bible says about peace. But how do you walk it out when life gets hard?
You believe God is faithful. You know He is your provider. You know He tells you not to worry.
You know you are chosen, loved, capable, and created with purpose.
But knowing Scripture and believing it in the middle of a hard day are two different things.
One moment, you are trying to get through your day. The next, you are overthinking, questioning yourself, feeling discouraged, or trying to control everything because trusting God feels harder than fixing it yourself.
You may wonder why your faith feels weak, why you keep expecting the worst, why your confidence disappears so quickly, or why staying disciplined feels so difficult.
Trust me, I have been there too.
I have prayed about something, then worried about it again ten minutes later. I have known what God said and still allowed negative thoughts to speak louder. I have wanted peace while holding tightly to fear, pressure, control, and my own understanding.
We are called to be doers of the Word, not just hearers (James 1:22-25).
That is why I created the Mental Peace Journal.
I didn’t create this journal for fun…I needed it, desperately.
For years, journaling became one of the ways I met with the Lord through seasons of anxiety, depression, overwhelm, insecurity, financial stress, family struggles, relationship concerns, and inconsistency in my business.
My journal pages weren’t neat or polished, but they were honest.
They were filled with prayers I cried out to God, scriptures I desperately needed to remember, questions that brought me back to Him, and practical ways to redirect what I was feeling toward His truth.
After journaling consistently for the first half of the year, I began reviewing my personal journals.
I noticed the same types of scriptures, questions, prayers, and practical steps appearing again and again.
God wasn’t only teaching me what His Word said. He was teaching me how to walk it out in real life.
I have always loved planners and journals, but I couldn’t find the guidance I needed. Many Christian journals felt shallow. A scripture on the cover or at the bottom of a lined page was encouraging, but it still left me to figure everything else out on my own.
I wanted more than a blank page. I wanted a guided journaling system that helped me seek God intentionally, understand what was happening within me, and respond according to His Word.
So I began creating guided journals for myself. Not because I planned to sell them. They were simply what I needed, really bad.
Months later I did a fast to hear God about my business and that’s when it clicked.
Thiiis was one of the journals God had been leading me to create for others.
Not a basic notebook, but a practical, intentional, Spirit led guide for the overwhelmed woman who wants to seek Him first and understand how to apply His Word practically.
The Mental Peace Journal was formed from multiple personal journals, years of prayer, and the lessons God faithfully taught me as I learned to walk through mental battles and stress with Him.
This isn’t a journal I imagined and just made up from nothing; it’s a journal I lived first. It’s like the blueprint God gave me to overcome my anxiety, depression, and overwhelm with Him.
This journal does more than give you somewhere to write.
The Mental Peace Journal is an interactive Christian journal designed to be completed from beginning to end.
Each section builds on the one before it, so you aren’t collecting random inspiration or turning to a different prompt whenever you feel like it.
You’re walking through an intentional biblical journey that teaches, challenges, encourages, and gives you space to respond honestly to God.
You’ll read. You’ll pray. You’ll reflect. You’ll write.
You’ll be challenged to examine what you believe, where you’ve placed your faith, and how your thoughts and actions align with God’s Word.
Most importantly, you’ll be continually directed back to Jesus.
Your journey inside the journal looks like this…
Mental Peace vs. Mental Disorder
Understand what mental peace and mental disorder look like and how disorganized, heavy, or chaotic thoughts can affect your overall life.
Where Is Your Faith Placed?
Examine whether your faith is truly placed in God or whether worry, people, relationships, habits, finances, circumstances, or your own understanding have quietly taken His place.
False Ideologies & Ungodly Practices
Examine beliefs, habits, and practices that compete with your trust in Jesus. Seek God for discernment, recognize anything you’ve depended on more than Him, and put your faith back where it belongs.
Your Mental Battlefield
Learn how negative thoughts grow when they’re repeatedly entertained and believed. Examine the thoughts affecting your peace, joy, faith, confidence, and productivity.
Satan’s Lies Versus God’s Truths
Identify lies and negative words you’ve believed about yourself, your future, your value, your ability, and your circumstances. Then replace those lies with biblical truth.
Prayer & Scripture Declaration
Strengthen your prayer life and learn how to use scripture in your prayers and personal declarations. Practice speaking God’s Word over your life with confidence
Affirming Yourself in Christ
Speak scripture centered declarations over your identity, faith, confidence, health, finances, purpose, protection, and relationship with Christ.
Self Control & Discipline
Be encouraged to stop allowing changing emotions to lead your decisions and begin choosing what God says, even when you don’t feel like doing it.
The Whole Armor of God
Study each piece of the armor of God and learn practical ways to use it in your everyday mental and spiritual battles.
Invitation to Salvation
If you haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you’ll be given an invitation to know Him personally and understand why He is the true source of peace.
Scriptures for Mental Peace
Keep biblical truth nearby for moments of anxiety, depression, overwhelm, discouragement, insecurity, and low confidence.
Journal Pages to Talk to God
Lined journaling pages for prayers, reflection, bible study, and documenting what God reveals to you along the way.
I intentionally & carefully created a guided journal prompt process for you to work through with God. It will help you to seek Him first and hear where He is guiding you to next.
-
Name the specific thought, burden, behavior, or struggle affecting your peace.
You can’t address what you keep avoiding, minimizing, or pretending isn’t there.
-
Read Scripture and compare what you’ve been believing with what God says is true.
This helps you recognize which thoughts are aligned with Him and which ones need to go.
-
Lay down your worries, pain, plans, desires, and need for control before the Lord.
You don’t have to keep carrying what He has already invited you to give Him.
-
Replace what you released with truth about who God is and who you are in Christ.
The goal isn’t to empty your mind and leave it sitting there vacant. Fill that space with what is true, loving, honorable, and worthy of praise.
-
Practice thanking God for His faithfulness, even before the outcome is visible.
Gratitude helps redirect your attention from everything that feels wrong to the ways God is still present, providing, protecting, and working.
-
Choose one intentional step that reflects your faith, discipline, and obedience today.
The step may feel small, but small acts of faith still matter.
I pray this journal is fruitful in your life.
When you finish this journal, my hope isn’t that you’ve only filled every page…
I want you to know what to do when negative thoughts return, life becomes overwhelming, or your faith feels weak.
I hope that you’ll:
Seek Jesus first instead of allowing worry, people, circumstances, or emotions to lead you.
Understand how to place your faith in the Lord and remember that He is present, faithful, and taking care of you.
Recognize negative thinking and answer it with Scripture.
Know how to pray, surrender, express gratitude, and take faithful action in your everyday routine.
Have practical ways to walk through anxiety, depression, overwhelm, insecurity, discouragement, and stressful seasons with God.
Grow in confidence because you trust the Lord is walking with you.
Have a personal record of what the Lord taught you, what He brought you through, and how your thoughts and responses changed along the way.
Be able to tell another woman, “Jesus is the solution. Let me show you the practical things God taught me.”
This Journal Is for You If...
You’re a woman navigating anxiety, depression, overwhelm, insecurity, discouragement, weak confidence, inconsistent habits, or negative thought patterns.
You love God, but you sometimes struggle to trust Him with what’s happening in your life.
You know Scripture, but you need help applying it to your thoughts, emotions, relationships, responsibilities, and decisions.
You want more than a decorative journal or a collection of short inspirational phrases.
You’re willing to keep your Bible nearby, pray, reflect deeply, and complete the journal in order.
You want practical steps that help you seek Jesus first and live His Word throughout your everyday routines.
You’re ready to be encouraged, but you’re also ready to be challenged.
This May Not Be for You If...
You’re looking for a quick fix that requires no honesty, prayer, reflection, surrender, or action.
You only want blank lined pages with a Scripture added for decoration.
You want guidance rooted in spiritual beliefs or practices outside of the Bible.
You aren’t willing to examine where your faith is placed, what thoughts you’ve agreed with, or what God may be calling you to change.
This journal is intentionally biblical, honest, direct, and practical.
It will encourage you, but it will also ask you to do the work.

This journal is intended for faith based encouragement and personal reflection. It isn’t designed to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a medical or mental health condition.
It can be used alongside appropriate care and support from licensed professionals.
You don’t have to keep figuring this out alone.
I created this journal to help women overcome overwhelm, anxiety, depression, and negative thinking with the Word of God, and to know how to do that practically.
I can’t promise that every difficult day will disappear.
But I can tell you that every section was created to point you toward Jesus, remind you of what is true, and give you a practical way to respond when your thoughts, emotions, or circumstances feel bigger than your faith.
You don’t have to understand everything today.
Open your Bible. Be honest with God. Allow Him to meet you where you’re at.
I’m cheering for you, and I’m honored to walk this road with you.
Hey my love, I am Miesha (my-ee-sha).
I am your friend for faith, mindset, and intentional living who strives to follow Jesus faithfully and enjoys helping women break out of stress, discouragement, and fear and live intentionally in Christ.
If we were sitting together with journals and tea, I would be the one telling you the truth, helping you understand what is going on in your mind, and reminding you that the Lord has not left you alone in this.
I have walked through anxiety and depression. I know what it is like to feel stuck in thoughts that do not honor God. And I know the power of renewing the mind through scripture. I teach from lived experience and from the Word because I truly want women to walk in the peace and purpose God created them for.
Everything I create, from custom journals to biblical teachings, is designed to help you selah, hear God clearly, and live intentionally with Him. You do not need perfection, but you do need willingness and faith.
